According to a release, both companies will now aim at helping businesses across Africa to manage and monitor multi-tenant applications deployed from Vodafone-owned Vodacom’s cloud infrastructure. The announcement was made at Novell’s week-long BrainShare Europe knees-up in Amsterdam today.
This partnership will integrate much of Novell’s Intelligent Workload Management portfolio including: SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Platespin Virtualization and Workload Management, and Identity and Security solutions into the network provider’s cloud hosting solutions. This will all help with the cloud infrastructure in Africa.
