What you need to know about Heritage Web Design and Fibernet

Thursday, March 10th, 2011

FibernetFibernet posted a question and answer on their website yesterday about what is going on with Heritage Web Design/HIT Web Design and the Fibernet relationship. It looks like Fibernet is keeping all of heritages websites live and trying to work directly with it’s customers to help them out and not shut them down. Good of Fibernet to step up to the plate and help these people out.

Heritage opened in 2001 and shot to become one of the the top of the website design companies in the world.  They hit the Inc 500 list in 2007. Heritage Web Solutions closed it’s doors on Tue March 8th at noon directing all its’ customers to Fibernet a local company that hosted Heritage. Fibernet is a local Utah company that has hosted Heritage over the past 10 years. Fibernet is currently taking all phone calls and customer service that Heritage Web Solutions dumped on them. No, Fibernet did not acquire Heritage but they are stepping up to help their customers and make a bad situation a good one.

Below is the question and answers, you can also find it by clicking here.

Q: Did Fibernet buy Heritage?

Q: Why is Fibernet involved?
Heritage was a long-time customer and reseller of Fibernet’s hosting services. Most of the services sold by Heritage were provided through Fibernet’s Hosting Platform. As Fibernet is in a unique position to maintain all of the Heritage Web Hosting accounts, we will endeavor to help and support all of the Heritage customers that would like to remain on our servers and transition them into Fibernet clients.
